15 December 2017
For ten adrenaline-charged days in January 2018 (19-28), Australia’s country music capital transforms into the biggest non-gated music festival in the southern hemisphere, offering visitors and locals alike the opportunity to experience the amazing country music talent we have on offer in Australia – absolutely-free!
And today, with a horde of extra acts confirmed for the 2018 Toyota Country Music Festival, Tamworth with the Toyota Fanzone Stage line-up set and ready to enhance the fan experience, organisers are excited too.
Toyota Country Music Festival Manager, Mr. Barry Harley says that Toyota Fanzone is the perfect place for musical discovery with different acts every 30mins featuring new artists as well as some of the biggest names in country music popping up throughout the Festival.
“It is just one of the Festival’s free curated stages,” Mr. Harley said. “The main difference with Toyota Fanzone Stage is that it not only showcases great live music, it also engages the audience by offering up close and personal performances and experiences including the opportunity to meet country music stars following their performances inside the Toyota Fanzone building.”
Over the years, Toyota Fanzone has grown to be one of the most popular destinations for artists to get close to their fans and provide them a taste of what’s on offer. It’s also been a great spot for up and coming artists to showcase their talent and encourage fans to follow their journey’s.
From 9.30 am each day the Toyota Fanzone Stage, located on the corner of Peel and Fitzroy Streets, is in full swing bringing country music to the heart of the city.
This years’ line-up includes Golden Guitar Award winners: The McClymonts, Travis Collins & Amber Lawrence, James Blundell, Sara Storer, Kevin Bennett & Lyn Bowtell and John Krsulja, sharing the bill with some of the 2018 Golden Guitar Award finalists: Fanny Lumsden, Aleyce Simmonds, Ashleigh Dallas, Gretta Ziller, Judah Kelly, The Davidson Brothers, Casey Barnes, Tania Kernaghan and up and coming stars like: Jasmine Rae, Caitlyn Shadbolt, Tori Forsyth, Missy Lancaster, Germein Sisters, Rachael Fahim, Kaylens Rain and the 2018 Toyota Star Maker Winner.
