Today, TAMWORTH, NSW – Tamworth Regional Council is proud to announce McDonald's Australia as a major partner of the Toyota Country Music Festival, Tamworth.  

The partnership will include the title sponsorship of a major stage and talent contest, providing the opportunity for young country music artists to display their talent and kick start their musical journey. 

In addition, the partnership will showcase local farmers who supply to Macca’s, as well as local franchisees who continue to play a critical role in driving the success of the McDonald’s business.

For 50 years, Tamworth has been proudly supporting Australian country music talent and this year, McDonald’s is also celebrating 50 years of supporting its customers, people and communities in Australia.

Held over ten days from 14 – 23 January 2022, the 50th Anniversary of the Toyota Country Music Festival, Tamworth will be an immersive celebration offering something for everyone with a mix of traditional, Americana, blues, roots, Alt-country, bluegrass, honky-tonk, and much more.   

The Macca’s Stage will be located at the Festival Family Zone and will operate from 11 am – 2 pm each day.
