Take to the stage this festival with Coca Cola Country

Make your dream of performing on stage during the Toyota Country Music Festival, Tamworth a reality this year and register for the annual Coca Cola Country, before applications close on Thursday 20 December. 

For over 40 years, Coca Cola Country has provided everyone the opportunity to take to the stage in Tamworth’s Town Hall, for their very own 5 minutes of fame. With categories ranging from Walk Up and Sing, to Battle of the New Stars and Battle of the Bands, it’s the ultimate talent quest that will have listeners cheering for more.

“Coca Cola Country offers a place where anyone can feel like a star. Many grab hold of the mic for the opportunity to get themselves out there in front of some of the industry’s most influential, some want to conquer their fear of the stage and others are just looking to have a bit of fun,” said Tamworth Regional Council’s Country Music Manager, Barry Harley. 

“Not to mention, it gives every performer the bragging rights to say they have performed on the same stage as Slim Dusty!” he added. 

Coca Cola Country events will be rolling out during the 47th Toyota Country Music Festival, Tamworth, from Saturday 19 January to Saturday 26 of January 2019.

•    Battle of the Young Stars
•    Battle of the New Stars
•    Battle of the Bluegrass
Walk up and Sing and Battle of the Bands registrations are now full. 

The grand finals for Coca Cola Country will be held on Saturday 26 of January 2019. 

“Coca Cola Country doesn’t discriminate, it welcomes one and all to the stage for a good time and we hope to see you in the Tamworth Town Hall spotlight during festival,” said Harley.

Held over ten days from 18 until 27 January 2019, the Toyota Country Music Festival, Tamworth is a Festival experience like no other with more than 300,000 visitors expected, 700 artists performing at over 2,800 events across 120 venues.
