Finalists of the 2024 Golden Gig, Sponsored by Macca’s announced at Toyota Tamworth Country Music Festival

Up and-coming country stars will hit the Macca’s Stage tomorrow, with the top ten finalists named in the 2024 Golden Gig, Sponsored by Macca’s talent search, at the 52nd Toyota Country Music Festival, Tamworth.
The top five from each category will go head-to-head in the grand final concert, including:
Senior Division (13 years to 17 years)
- Travis Jones – 13, Coonamble NSW
- Lucy Beveridge – 15, Stewart Brook NSW
- Phoebe Struckett – 15, Palmview QLD
- Maia Fletcher – 17, Windsor NZ
- Robbi Morgan – 14, Hornsby NSW
Junior Division (12 years and under)
- Stevie Wright – 11, Maroubra NSW
- Daniel Win-Cohen – 9, Cootamundra NSW
- Georgia Kelly – 12, Currumbin Valley QLD
- Charli Sullivan – 12, Gerringong NSW
- Isabelle Voll – 11, Highfields QLD
Barry Harley, Festival Manager, remarked: “The youngest talents at the Festival have once again demonstrated their “Narrowing down the top five in each age group was a challenging decision, and tomorrow’s grand final is poised to be exceptionally exciting!”
The 2024 Golden Gig, Sponsored by Macca’s competition will see plenty of prizes up for grabs, with first place in the senior category (13 to 17 years) receiving a scholarship to the Country Music Association of Australia’s Junior Academy, valued at $3,300, as well as three separate professional.

The winner of the junior category (12 and under) will receive three professional mentoring sessions, a Takamine electric-acoustic guitar from Pro Music Australia, plus cash and a voucher from Capitol Music Tamworth.
Second and third place of each division will receive cash prizes and a voucher from Capitol Music Tamworth.
The grand final of the Golden Gig, Sponsored by Macca’s will get underway at 10am on Saturday, 26 January, where the top 10 finalists will take to the Macca’s Stage.
The judging panel, which includes country music artists and industry representatives will choose a winner from each age group, as well as an overall top performer.
