The partnership which is based on a similar ethos of ‘giving back’ and showcasing regional Australia will see Regional Australia Bank maintain naming rights of the Family Zone precinct for the next three years.

Under this sponsorship the 2017 Festival Family Zone will offer more family fun than ever before with a new rides and experiences for families of all sizes and children of all ages.

Mr Harley says families are a growing market for the festival because of its budget friendly offering and huge array of child friendly activities including a 20m Ferris wheel, dodgem cars, cup n saucer ride, bungy trampoline, jumping castle, flying tigers mini plane ride and convoy trucks ride on train tracks.

“The Toyota Country Music Festival is an economical way for families to experience one of NSW’s most diverse regions and one of the world’s most unique events and we are thrilled that Regional Australia Bank shares the same enthusiasm as we do when it comes to encouraging families to visit Tamworth in January.”

In addition to the rides and activities on offer for families, the 2017 Festival, offers ten days and nights of free concerts, headlined by some of Australia’s biggest country music stars, including the Tamworth Family Support Service Evening in the Park specifically designed for families and featuring the 2017 Festival Family Ambassador Amber Lawrence. Of her role Amber said: ‘My music has always been one for all ages, but even more so with the release of ‘The Kid’s Gone Country’. So to be announced as the Family Ambassador is so fantastic, and I couldn’t think of a better job - encouraging families to come and experience all the amazing things that Tamworth Country Music Festival has to offer.”

Mr Harley sees the Regional Australia Bank and Amber Lawrence combination as a key driver in future marketing of the festival and its family friendly offering and he looks forward to working with them both over the coming years.
