Introducing the hosts, performers and presenters at the 2016 Country Music Association of Australia – Toyota Golden Guitar Awards
The Country Music Association of Australia (CMAA) – Toyota Golden Guitar Awards is the pinnacle event of the 2016 Toyota Country Music Festival, Tamworth.
This year the Awards promise a captivating evening that celebrates the musical milestones of some of Australia’s most recognised country music artists.
The show features a number of artists nominated for this year’s awards as well as past winners, and in a first will include the announcement of the 2016 Roll of Renown inductee.
Sam McClymont and Travis Collins are confirmed to host the 2016 Golden Guitar Awards and red carpet interviews with artists will be hosted by Golden Guitar winners Brooke McClymont and Adam Eckersley.
Performers will include Lee Kernaghan performing with the New Talent nominees Brothers3, Christie Lamb, Seleen McAlister, Mickey Pye and Caitlyn Shadbolt, Troy Cassar-Daley performing with Paul Kelly, Beccy Cole, Shane Nicholson, Catherine Britt, Roo Arcus, Jasmine Rae and country super-group Adam Brand and the Outlaws.
Presenters will include Adam Harvey, Paul Kelly, James Blundell, Amber Lawrence, Luke O’Shea, Dobe Newton & Roger Corbett of The Bushwackers, Kristy Cox, Chelsea Basham and Tamworth’s own Rex Dallas along with his granddaughter Ashleigh Dallas.
The Toyota Country Music Festival will be held from Friday 15 to Sunday 24 January 2016 with the Toyota Golden Guitar Awards on Saturday 23 January 2016 at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre.
