The 2025 Tamworth Country Music Parade is set to make its grand return in a brand-new format, offering fans a unique opportunity to rub shoulders with their favorite country music stars in person.
The parade will replicate the ever-popular cavalcade event, celebrating the very best of Australian country music. Festival attendees will witness the excitement of a traditional street parade, where they can catch glimpses of their beloved stars up close and personal.

When?
The 2025 Tamworth Country Music Parade will take place on Saturday, 25th January at 9am. The parade route will start with artists and local community groups marching north along Peel St, then turning into Fitzroy St and finally left onto Kable Ave, concluding at the intersection of Kable Ave and Hill St.
Theme
Australian + Country + Music
This year, the parade will embrace the theme of “Australian + Country + Music.” Participants are encouraged to get creative and showcase their love for the country music scene. Cash prizes will be awarded to the best entries (details below), adding an extra incentive for groups to participate and bring their A-game.

The best part is, the 2025 Tamworth Country Music Parade is absolutely free to enter and open to everyone. Whether you’re part of a community group, school, local business, dance school, or any special interest group, you’re invited to be a part of this amazing event.
All you need to do is walk the 1.2km route and enjoy the experience with fellow music enthusiasts.
All entries must have at least one country music artist walking/travelling as part of their entry, a live music performance or pre-recorded music playing.
Entrants will be expected to be in the marshalling area between 7.30am and 8am for a 9am start.
