Community Saturday in the Park

The 2022 Community Saturday in the Park featuring the Festival Markets and Tamworth Growers Markets is the newest event running in place of the Country Music Cavalcade during the Toyota Country Music Festival, Tamworth.

There are three great activities for you and your family to explore:

Community Celebration

Time: 9am – 12pm
Where: Bicentennial Park, Tamworth

The Community Celebration is a great opportunity to get to know a variety of community groups and will also feature a selection of live music and performances.  Stay tuned for activities and ways for you and your family to be involved!






Festival Markets 

Time: 9am – 2pm
Where: White St Carpark

Come along to the inaugural Festival Markets (run by The Market Project) to see local artisan wares, arts, crafts and other stalls.

Tamworth Growers Markets

Time: 8am to 12pm
Where: Regional Playground Greenspace

Tamworth Growers Market are a community based not for profit organisation. Visit these markets to find the best homegrown produce, handmade, recyclable, sustainable, Aussie made goods sourced by locals.  Come and enjoy the friendly, relaxed atmosphere in beautiful surrounds.

The Gather and Trade Aboriginal Artisans Market, is an Arts North West initiative, celebrating First Nations arts, culture and music from the Arts North West Footprint.

From weaving to resin, paintings to jewellery the market is a great opportunity for community and tourists to buy authentic Aboriginal Arts & Crafts with First Nations creatives from the region to showcasing sell their products and to a wide audience. This inaugural event will also include live music and entertainment with a stella line up of Aboriginal singers, songwriters and performers set to grace the stage.
