About

Held in Australia's Country Music Capital, Tamworth, the Toyota Country Music Festival is recognised as Australia's largest and longest country music festival in the southern hemisphere!

The festival runs across 10 days in January each year and celebrated 50 years in 2022.

Get prepared to experience a festival like no other, with 10 full days of music fetauring ticketed and free shows alike, with buskers that line the main street of Tamworth so you can experience the #TCMF2024 vibe no matter where you are in the CBD!

Before you ask, no, this is not a gated festival. Thousands of people wander through the Tamworth CBD and walk between various pubs, stages, street performances and the beautiful bicentennial park, embracing what is the ultimate festival atmosphere.

The pinnacle of the festival lies in the Golden Guitar Awards, held on the final Saturday of the festival, which are the only industry affiliated country music awards in Australia and the biggest celebration of Australian country music talent

The Tamworth Country Music Festival is supported by Toyota, Tamworth Regional Council, the NSW Government via its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW, McDonalds, Kennards Hire, Country Music Capital News, Australian Community Media, KIX Country Radio, XXXX, WIN.
