There are camping areas made available along the sporting grounds adjacent to the Peel River for a small fee. Camping at this facility will not be permitted in 2012 until the first day of the Festival Countdown on Friday 13 January for the duration of the festival.
All site fees must be paid for at the time of arrival at the designated site offices. All sites must be vacated by 7:00am on Monday 30 January 2011. Bookings are not taken for this camping facility.
Permanent and temporary toilet and shower amenities are located around the Riverside Camping Grounds. A $2.00 fee is payable to the sporting associations for the use of shower facilities each time. Each of the three sporting clubhouses also operate camp stores with daily supplies basic groceries, toiletries and camping requirements. Breakfast, lunch and dinner with some dine-in facilities area also on offer.
