Tamworth musicians are joining a nationwide fight to save live music tonight by putting on three gigs simultaneously. Save Live Australian Music Day (SLAM) is happening in many cities across Australia today, 23 February, in protest at legislation aimed at live music.

Returning from a triumphant Tamworth Country Music Festival, including two sold out concerts and being awarded two Golden Guitar awards at the 40th Country Music Awards Of Australia, ‘Waitress’ the 2nd single from Beccy Cole’s award-winning album, “Songs & Pictures” has just been released.

Tamworth Regional Council would like to extend an open invitation to all interested members of the Tamworth community, along with local businesses and Festival stakeholders, to attend the 2012 Jayco Tamworth Country Music Festival community debrief.

The 2012 Optus Gympie Music Muster to set up Chapel for event allowing patrons to marry, renew vows or having a child naming day during the Festival period.

Christie Lamb recently returned from a very successful Tamworth Country Music Festival – she not only made it all the way to the Toyota Star Maker finals but she was also voted ‘Most Popular New Independent Artist 2012’ at the Meet 'n' Greet Country Awards during the annual event.
