3. How do I get involved in busking?

To busk during the Festival you must register in person at Festival HQ, Tamworth Regional Council at 437 Peel Street. Registrations open on Friday 13 January and busking starts on Friday 20 January. Refer to the Application Forms page for the Busking application form.

4. How do I become a member to receive all the latest news, competitions and giveaways?

It’s easy to become a Tamworth County Music Festival member – just sign up for our TCMF eNews.

5. When do tickets go on sale?

Tickets go on sale online on 1 October 2011 and you can even score an early bird special. Phone and pick-up sales are available from 1 December 2011. Call Tourism Tamworth (02) 6767 5300 (for international sales: +61 2 6767 5300) or purchase in person at the Tamworth Visitors Information Centre at the corner of Peel and Murray Streets, Tamworth.

6. Where can I see photos of the Festival?

7. Are all events 18 years and over?

Please check with each entertainment venue about age restrictions.

8. Can we bring the kids along?

Yes, bring the whole family. The Tamworth Country Music Festival is a family friendly event, with free concerts in Bicentennial Park, busking and live entertainment, there is something for all ages.

10. I am an artist. How do I secure a venue for a performance?

Due to the extensive nature of the Festival artists need to seek and book their own performances. You can do so by contacting the venues directly or through a booking agent.

11. What do I need to bring to the Festival?

A fold out chair and a picnic rug are essential items for the Tamworth Country Music Festival. With regular, free outdoor concerts in Bicentennial Park and Peel Street they’ll definitely come in handy.

And don’t leave home without your driver’s licence or photographic identification. Registered Clubs and Hotels in NSW require proof of age and identification when entering some premises.

12. Where can I find more info about events and programs?

You will need the “Official Guide” to the Tamworth Country Music Festival. It features performers’ info, venues, dates and times plus ticketing information, festival shuttle timetables, venue details, latest CD and DVD releases, and more!
